Healthcare AI Ops & Oversight

Sponsor Ethics

Healthcare AI Ops & Oversight is a free publication. We monetize through sponsorships, partnerships, and qualified leads for our publisher and its affiliated entities. The policies below protect our readers from compromised editorial and our sponsors from unclear expectations.

Standing disclosure

Healthcare AI Ops & Oversight is published by Augmented Leadership HQ (ALHQ), a brand owned by INKCS LLC. ALHQ may route qualified opportunities to ALHQ advisory services or to founder-affiliated businesses, including Next Raven Systems where relevant. Editorial coverage remains independent: affiliated companies, sponsors, competitors, and vendors receive no editorial control or preferential coverage.

Sponsor categories we accept

We accept sponsors whose products help executives reduce cost, govern risk, or implement AI responsibly. Specifically:

  • AI governance platforms
  • Healthcare compliance tools
  • Cybersecurity vendors
  • Revenue cycle automation
  • Workforce optimization platforms
  • Ambient documentation vendors
  • Data privacy and risk management firms
  • Healthcare consulting firms
  • Health IT integration companies
  • Executive education programs
  • Healthcare SaaS targeting CFOs, COOs, CIOs/CAIOs, and compliance leaders

Sponsor categories we auto-reject

We decline sponsors that make claims we cannot verify and would not repeat. Specifically:

  • Vendors making unverifiable patient safety, ROI, or HIPAA compliance claims
  • Products broadly considered AI theater by credible third-party reviewers
  • Anything that would weaken reader trust in the publication

How we cover current sponsors

Active sponsors are eligible for editorial coverage on the same terms as any other vendor. We do not give sponsors preferential treatment, hold pieces, or alter framing at sponsor request. When an issue covers a current sponsor, we disclose the relationship inline at the top of the relevant section.

Cool-down for ex-sponsors

We apply a 90-day cool-down before critical coverage of an ex-sponsor. Neutral and positive coverage has no cool-down.

Sponsored placement standards

Every sponsored placement is labeled "Sponsored" in bold at the top of the unit. Sponsored content is never embedded inside editorial content. Subscribers can always tell at a glance whether they are reading our reporting or paid placement.

Editorial independence

Sponsors have zero input on editorial coverage. This is written into every sponsor contract. We reserve the right to decline any sponsor, end any sponsorship, and refuse to alter editorial language at sponsor request.

When we cover affiliated products, services, or data

Most issues do not need an inline disclosure. We add one only when a material relationship could reasonably affect how a reader interprets the coverage.

That usually means the issue directly evaluates, recommends, critiques, compares, or materially references an INKCS LLC, ALHQ, NRS, sponsor, or other founder-affiliated product or service; uses non-public, sponsor-provided, or affiliated-entity data as evidence; or compares a third-party vendor with an affiliated product or service in a way that could create a perceived competitive benefit.

We do not add inline disclosures merely because a topic is broadly adjacent to ALHQ, NRS, or healthcare AI; because a covered company competes somewhere in the market; or because we cite ordinary public sources.

When disclosure is needed, we use short, plain language:

Disclosure: [Entity] is [relationship]. It had no editorial control. We are covering this because [specific editorial reason].
